Landscape in Printmaking – A guest curation by VanDeb Editions

Since I started making monoprints I have been fascinated by the history of landscape images in printmaking, especially mono prints. I also have done silk aquatints and solar plates to make combinations of mono prints with a matrix image.

 

Degas and Gaugin made wonderful spontaneous images that amazed me when I first saw them..they look so contemporary. Of course so many artists have made etchings, lithos and aquatints throughout the ages … so here are a few to tempt you!
