Artist to appear on the new £20 Note
The Bank of England has recently announced that it wants a visual artist to appear on the new £20 note. The public can officially nominate an artist before 19 July 2015 with the final decision being announced in Spring 2016. The new note is expected to go into circulation before 2020.
Printed Editions would like to conduct its own poll from print collectors and dealers. Below are ten British artists who’s prints are listed on Printed Editions. These artists have been judgementally selected but do feel free to nominate other British artists.
The results from this poll will be published at a later date – it could prove to be quite interesting!
