Guest Curator | Lyndsey Ingram from Sims Reed Gallery

We are delighted that Lyndsey Ingram from Sims Reed Gallery (IFPDA) is our first guest to curate an on-line exhibition of prints and editions that are listed on Printed Editions.  Lyndsey’s theme is Art with Text.

“I like art with text because it immediately creates a duality – where we struggle to reconcile the meaning of the words (or their associations) with the way the artists has rendered them (form, colour, size, etc). Sometimes there is an obvious relationship between the way the letters are depicted and what they actually mean, and sometimes it is arbitrary or intentionally ambiguous “.
