Through her painting, Ewa Juszkiewicz (b. 1984, Gdansk, Poland) challenges visual conventions and confronts stereotypical perceptions of women’s beauty in classical European painting. By deconstructing and reinterpreting the female subject in historical artworks, Juszkiewicz undermines their constant, indisputable character.
